This is the Province house of Prince Edwards Island, where Confederation
was born in 1864 at the PEI Conference.

Sir John A. Macdonald, the first Prime Minister of Canada, also one
of the father of Confederation.

not fighting for the Czar. Since Canada had been advertising free land in Canada, the Doukhobors seen they perfect chance
start a better life.

to Canada around 1870, when Russia was going through downturns. The Russian came to Canada for the promise of free land.
